HONORARY PRESIDENT MESSAGE
Travel creates an opportunity to bring a community of diverse cultures together.
As we set off away from the comforts of our homeland, we begin to see the differences and similarities amongst other people’s cultures.During our journeys, our perspectives change and we become more accepting of others’ race, religion, and culture.
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.
“We travel not for swapping alone, by hotter winds our fiery hearts are fanned, for the lust of knowing what should not be known, we take the Golden Road to Samarkand…”
Travel helps us understand that it’s possible to attain UNITY in DIVERSITY.
Aware of the universal values of tolerance and co-existence offered by cultural tourism, our association wishes to use the figure of Ibn Battuta as a symbol of peace among peoples. We would like to give a new dynamism to international relations, economic or cultural, through the promotion of the immaterial heritage of our kingdom which is already known for its values of tolerance and cooperation.
We wish for a better world, a world where cooperation, exchange and sharing will be the keys of social, cultural and economic development. We are ambitious to work towards a future that is beneficial to all, taking the example of Ibn Battuta, his wisdom, humility and respect for others.
